Phone State (android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE): Used to detect incoming cellular phone calls so the app can properly pause or manage active in-app video calls without conflict.


System Alert Window (android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Allows the app to draw over other apps. This is utilized to display post-call screens or transparent overlays related to the call interface.


Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you alerts regarding incoming calls, messages, or app updates.


Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): Used to serve personalized advertisements within the application.


Internet & Network (android.permission.INTERNET, android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to connect to our servers, establish video calls, send messages, and load advertisements.


Device Interactions (android.permission.VIBRATE, android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to provide haptic feedback during calls/matches and to initialize necessary background call-receiving services when the device restarts.


3. Third-Party Services and Libraries

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, serve advertisements, monitor app performance, or facilitate app features.


Below are the specific third-party service providers and SDKs integrated into Random Video Call & Chat:


Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob): Used to display advertisements. AdMob uses the device's Advertising ID to serve relevant ads.


Firebase Analytics: Used to track user interactions and app usage to help us improve the app's design and functionality.


Firebase Crashlytics & Performance: Used to monitor the app's performance and log error data (such as device state, operating system version, and time of crash) if the app terminates unexpectedly.


Firebase Remote Config: Used to manage and update the app's behavior and appearance dynamically without requiring an app update.


WebRTC SDK: The core technology used to establish secure, real-time peer-to-peer video and audio communication between users.


Socket.io: Used for real-time signaling to connect users for video calls and to deliver instant text messages.


Retrofit & Gson: Used for internal network communication to securely transmit data between the app and our backend servers.


4. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through Firebase Crashlytics) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.


5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. WebRTC connections are designed with built-in encryption protocols for secure video and audio transmission. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.


6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
